Interactive Programmes for Community & Students
An Edu – SAT Satellite Interactive Terminal facility was established at Vishnu School Campus in Bhimavaram, West Godavari District for the benefit of students, women, self – help groups, artisans, farmers and other sections of the society in this area. It is the 50th Satellite Interactive Terminal established in our country and only the second such terminal set up in the state of Andhra Pradesh, apart from the one at Vijayawada.
Using Edu – SAT Satellite Interactive Terminal, Vigyan Prasar multicasts classes and discussions on science subject. Scientists and subject experts from Vigyan prasar and other institutions lead classes with children at class ends. Edu – SAT Satellite Interactive Terminal housed at Vishnu School hopes to play a crucial role in the spread of scientific temper among the students of government schools who attend classes here.
